Your tasks will be:

  • Responsible for business development and sales of CENTOGENE services & products in Southeast Asia
  • Autonomous planning and implementation of sales activities
  • Active acquisition of new customers
  • Active management of potential partners/resellers
  • Managing relationships with key opinion leaders in the diagnostics of rare hereditary disorders
  • Identify and implement an action plan to drive growth
  • Customer relationship management via
  • Collection of market intelligence and competitive information
  • Planning of Marketing & Sales strategies for your region
  • Representing CENTOGENE at conferences and target group gatherings
  • Budgetary planning and administering of revenue, continual evaluation of turnover
  • Directly reporting to and coordinating with General Manager Asia-Pacific

You have the following skills and qualifications:

  • A university degree in biological sciences or the equivalent thereof (further background in biology, laboratory medicine, medical technology)
  • Professional experience in the field of biotechnology and field sales (medical laboratory diagnostics, medical devices and/or pharmaceutical market selling complex products)
  • Profound understanding of methods in the field of modern human genetic and rare hereditary diseases (genetic counselling is a plus)
  • Experience in managing regional distributors
  • Excellent Thai language and decent English skills are essential
  • Strong communication skills and negotiating ability
  • The means to work independently, oriented towards performance and results
  • Passionate about selling, partnering and networking with customers and distributors
  • A solid grasp of scientific and medical concepts and procedure
  • Displays effective communication skills with a wide range of negotiation techniques and handling complex accounts
  • Well organized, detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple customers and priorities
  • Means to work independently, oriented towards performance and results
