Your tasks will be:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced DevOps Engineer with expertise in Cloud/AWS technologies to join our Research & Development Bioinformatics Team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing highly scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure that supports our diagnostic products and services.
- Support the Software and Bioinformatics Development by bringing application from Development to Production environment.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and procedures.
- Plan, design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Advise developers on best practices for multi-stage cloud environments.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders along the life cycle of projects and operations.
- Stay up to date with the latest technologies and best practices in cloud infrastructure and DevOps, and continuously improve the infrastructure development process.
You have the following skills and qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps, with a proven track record of delivering highly scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions, preferably AWS.
- Strong experience with Gitlab CICD or Github Actions.
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language, such as Python or Bash.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Prometheus.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex problems and design effective solutions.
- Enthusiasm for working in an international and interdisciplinary environment.
