Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Organization and leading laboratory processes
  • Taking medical samples as part of COVID-19 diagnostics
  • Independent execution of high throughput RNA preparation and RT-PCR reactions
  • Documentation of the samples in the LIMS
  • Evaluation of the raw data of the analysis
  • Control of quality standards and performance according to SOPs in the laboratory
  • Laboratory organization according to international quality standards (ISO / CAP / CLIA)

You have the following skills and qualifications:

  • You have successfully completed training as a BTA / MTA / CTA or a Bachelor / Master in molecular biology
  • Practical experience working with DNA sample preparation or equivalent laboratory experience is an advantage, as is good theoretical knowledge of molecular genetics
  • First experience in organisation of laboratory processes
  • Professional experience in molecular biology or in a biochemical laboratory
  • Readiness to work in shifts (6 a.m. - 10 p.m. / Monday to Sunday). Sundays and public holidays are remunerated attractively
  • You work in a precise, structured and reliable way
  • Communication in English is essential, German is a plus
  • You are fit in MS Office
