Medical Technologist/ Lab Technician for Sample Preparation (m/f/d)

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Performing daily routine diagnostics in the Sample Preparation department:
- DNA/RNA extraction of all sample types described in the SOP’s/WI’s at Centogene
- Quality Control of Centogene's IVD CentoCard
- Preparation of DBS-plates for Biochemistry Deparment
- Daily sample sorting and archiving
- Maintaining proper documentation of experiments and processes, as well as results
- Sample tracking according to biobanking
- Participating in regular trainings, team meetings, and professional development
- Mentoring new starters and training new employees
You have the following skills and qualifications:
- Successfully completed training as BTA / MTA / CTA or BA in Biology
- Professional experience in molecular biology or biochemical laboratory is advantageous
- Hands on experiences in working with DNA/RNA extraction
- An accurate, structured, and reliable working style is required
- Good theoretical knowledge in molecular genetics is a plus
- Communication in English is required, German is desirable
- Fit in MS Office
