Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Planning, designing, developing, implementing and delivery of cloud-based solutions for our new AWS Data Lake
  • Work with colleagues both in IT and internal business representatives to migrate existing use cases and workflows into cloud implementation
  • Strong knowledge and established experience in S3, EC2, Lambda, Step Functions, AWS Glue, RDS, Cloudwatch and other AWS services
  • Understand web services, data modelling, RDBMS, SQL and enterprise application integration concepts, including experience with enterprise systems such as MDM, Salesforce etc
  • Experience with cloud software development within an automated CI/CD environment
  • Be an advocate for the products and communities you work with

You have the following skills and qualifications:

  • Degree in computer science, a comparable education or skills demonstrated by several years of practical work experience as software developer (ideally with certificate)
  • 4+ years of IT experience in application migrations to Cloud, developing software using coding languages (Python, Java, Scala) and 2+ years of experience implementing software-delivery solutions in AWS
  • Practical experience with modifying and migrating production software to a cloud environment
  • Experience in automation, DevOps continuous integration (CI) and delivery (CD) tools like Ansible, Jenkins or Gitlab
  • Enthusiastic & self-motivated
  • Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills in German and English
  • AWS Certified
